Kardo Shiwan is an award-winning Kurdish artist, currently based in Tampere.

As a diverse artist, Kardo works as an actor and dancer, director, screenwriter, choreographer, cinematographer, and producer in various projects and working environments, both in Finland and abroad.

Right now, Kardo is interested in the intersections of feminism, cultural research and corporeality.
